- Guillemets: ASCII "..." → « … » with narrow no-break space (U+202F) on both sides
- Narrow no-break space (U+202F): before ; ? ! and after « / before »
- No-break space (U+00A0): before : in French prose
- Thousands separator: narrow no-break space (U+202F) in 4+ digit numbers
